Any concerns

Well, the Gators have played two games now and we're heading into the bye week. Do you have any concerns about what you've seen thus far?

I don't like how our offensive line is playing, and I think the gators need to start out better. They're playing flat in the 1st half.

I think our offensive line is the only concern right now. The defense is playing great (even though they haven't been tested yet).

I also don't like how tebow is still running so much. He ran the ball like 15 times against Miami. That's too many in my opinion.

The o-line and we're still relying on Tebow and Harvin to run the ball. Maybe our running game against Miami was a fluke...

It still looks like they are conserving energy or something. I agree that the offensive line seems weak, and that the running game is tenuous at times. It does not look like they are as sharp as Georgia or Auburn right now, but I think on that point I am worrying just a little too early.

After two games yes I do have concerns and also high expectation.

Offense:

The Gators had great success in running the football in the first game against Hawaii but against Miami it seemed they completely forgot about the running game and the great backs. Yes, Tim and Percey ran the ball but what about everyone else? The receivers dropping passes is also a concern. There were a few times where the ball was right there and they were not able to bring it in.

Defense:

Outstanding!!!!! This is were I think the Gators have improved the most.

Overall:

I can only hope that Coach Myer wanted to limit what the offense is really capable of in the first two games. I know Hawaii is not a power house but I also think that Miami is going to be very strong this year as they looked pretty good overall.

TN is going to be a test as they always come to play against the Gators. I think the team will pull it together and will be very tough to beat period.

On offense the linemen at times weren't blocking effectively; they should NEVER let down their guard if the opposition is showing blitz or ANY movement at all.

True we didn't run as much of a ground attack against Miami as we did on Hawai'i; with the exception of Aaron Hernandez, Riley Cooper and Louis Murphy it was pretty much back to the Tim-and-Percy Show since Harvin was back in the lineup. This is even a bigger concern as Tebow needs to spread the ball around a lot more.

The one 15-yd UC penalty Trautwein picked up was costly and foolish. We had a decent drive going and that put the whammy on it.

I wonder why Moody didn't see any playing time?

We still have some rough spots to iron out, but I have faith in our guys in that they'll be ready to head up to Tennessee on 9/20 and make it Urban 4- Phil 0.

GO GATORS!!!!!!!!!!
