I can't say that I fully understand this hire. The situation at Auburn just plain doesn't look good for the foreseeable future.

It was also the right thing to do. Chizik needs to start from ground zero and revamp the program, which will take time. Auburn fans will need to demonstrate some patience.

Well keep in mind Turner Gill was better than the guy they hired. He (Gill) coached Buffalo from doormat to conference champs. I can't blame Sir Charles for speaking out though Brady Hoke was also looked over and he's white. Did anyone seen Outside the Lines on Sunday?

Was nt Barkley the one who criticized Lebron James like 2 weeks ago, He needs to shut up honestly, It s not about race, why the Buffalo coach did not get the job, Chizik worked at Auburn before........ he knows the SEC does Gill? Hell no. Thats what matters, You can win the MAC but that don't mean nothing, I think no one is giving this coach a chance... With Saban at Bama', Auburn would not be going anywhere anyways, They will go 7-5 next year.
