But CFB needs a playoff system!

Lets all go cry together about why College Football needs a playoff system. The best team in the NFL, the San Diego Chargers, recently lost to an inferior team. Theres no doubt that the Chargers were the best team in the NFL. That means an inferior team will win the Superbowl.

I don't get these people that whine and cry about needed a playoff system in college, when the same thing can happen!

Everyone and their mom said OSU was the best team in CFB, and they deserved the NC without even playing the game. But we whooped them in front of the entire nation and proved we were the better team despite the rankings.

I don't think college football needs a playoff system either, and I don't think it will ever happen. It all comes down to money, and allocating all the revenue to all the conferences just isn't going to happen.

I actually want college football to have a playoff system. I don't care how the money is spread out. I think it would benefit the game to have an extra 2 or 3 weeks of playing time.

Either that or they should at least move bowl season to early/mid December. 51 days off is way too many.

I am also happy with the system we currently have. It does a great job in sparking debate amongst all the sports fans. I think it does a fairly good job in letting the best two teams play against each other.

The only thing I think that needs to be added is that you must win your conference to play in the title game.
