FSU player arrested for felony theft

TALLAHASSEE — "One day after Florida State reserve sophomore Ed Imeokparia was arrested on one charge of felony grand theft, university athletic director Randy Spetman on Wednesday said in a statement that FSU is "gathering facts of the situation."

Panama City police allege that Imeokparia on Monday stole a cell phone, valued at approximately $450, from a store there. He was arrested on Tuesday with the help of the Tallahassee Police Department."

While I will admit that Criminoles is probably the parody of a teams name that I laughed at the hardest, it's a shame to see a kid with an opportunity like his make such a stupid mistake. Regardless of his future status with the team and the University, I hope the kid gets this out of his system as soon as he can.
