What I do not understand is why Harris cannot connect on the deep ball. His nice throws were not hauled in, but his ugly throws are getting uglier. It could be a sign of frustration.

I hate these conservative play calls. It boggles my mind why for 4 years, no matter who we bring in (so called great offensive minds, Weis, Pease,Roper) we always run run run. This play calling has got us no where. One game against Georgia don't make us this ground and pound type of team. We need balance.

Lot you can say about the last few minutes of play, but comes down to this:
We DO have a good D--and when it counts, Fowler and Hargreaves are there to GET IT DONE. On offense, well, we do have Harris (finally), and (yes, right on cue) Christy.
There WAS no other plan, from this point on isn't one, except to run Treon, then punt. Now, that might have been an acceptable strategy if we had a TWO or more TD lead...a lame, dangerous-if-they-get-closer one, but "acceptable. But with just the 1 score between us and them, 10 minutes left? What happens if they march the field now? What THEN?

The Gators are trying to throw, but it just ain't working. Not sure why.

I can see why. The passing game is just not working, and nobody can figure out why.

I think the drunker I get, the drunker the South Carolina offense gets.
Let's hope that's true. Can't get OVER our "offense". Something to the effect of, "Oh, Harris seems to be running well, Let's just send him EVERY PLAY FOR THE REST OF THIS GAME. He gets hurt, we bring back JD..."

Poole at nickel usually means a moderate gain by the opposing offense, or a penalty in the secondary.

Remember, his throwing hand is MESSED UP--finger "split open" in 1st qrtr. OH!!! Wide OPEN pick-6, Big Guy!

The receivers are throwing good pick routes and post routes. What I cannot see on the TV screen is what is going on outside the view of the TV camera that prevents those plays from working. Robinson ran one sloppy route. Harris made two bad reads. Other than that, the Gators should have more than 60 yards passing.

Aw, MAN...that's a chance-in-a-LIFETIME shot for him, WIDE open, right on his hands--'Course, those"hands" are more like "ham hocks"! Can't really expect he'd grab that--but all he had to do is squeeze it, fall forward, and we win. Oh well, have to do it the hard way. For us, REALLY hard, way this one's bein' called by MusRoper.

Short passes, screens, outs, everything doesn't have to be deep. They need to teach him that. If they keep running him hes gonna get hurt. He is not a very big QB.

Whew. Penalty could have gone either way. Getting chippy. Chris Lammons almost committed to Florida. Glad he is sucking over there in Columbia.

19-yard TOUCHDOWN run by Treon Harris...called back due to holding on Quinton Dunbar.

...helps if they keep escortin' US for a change. Hartis gets away--but they throw the flag on Dunbar for holding. If he'd have just released once Harris was past him. Unnecessary, and costs us the TD. Will prob mean a FG try instaed in a sec...Just can't WIN this thing!.

If we do win this it doesn't take away the fact that our offense is way to sloppy and not consistent. Against a down SC team it may work. Lol now a block.....OMG. Good job MC with your pu$$y ass play calling.
