Game Day Week Five: Road Test

There's the "one more TD, at least"...and after we let em play us even since the break.
NOW the D can, SHOULD pin its ears back--go after the QB, etc. Only way they get back in this one is with a quick score, then another--and we SHOULD be good enough to deal with THAT situation.
Again:
Lets get to the 4th, drive the field, empty their stadium of all but Travelling Gators.

Our O line has NOT protected well tonight.
At some point, we get smarter about WHEN we throw in a game like this one: You throw on SECOND down when you face a D like this one, playing this well (especially when your offense is NOT!)

Well, yeah--Our O-line has LOOKED like "the weak link" tonight, at least in pass protection...WG's been hurried, hit and hurt way too often here.
Nice crossing route as the Tiger linebackers relax a bit too much. Their DL is stout, but KT and the Jordan's are picking spots. KT needs to run a better flag route.

In spite of everything, we are driving here...But no kicking game, so gotta drive it IN--or damn close to even bother TRYING a kick. (You notice how he would a missed two of the extra-pt attempts if they'd been back 5 or more yards? You can bet our coaches have...I figure they go for it on 4th down anywhere outside the 10.)

That was a pretty iffy fake FG. But, I understand the lack of confidence in our kicker at this point.
WAY too long setting up that fake. Got too cute there. Gave the ball away meekly. That's at LEAST 9 Points left out there. We should be up big. They better get a proper kicker. That was a pathetic effort.

Gotta rely on the D again to pull it out.
Too much time left for us to fold our tents this way on offense. Those "lost points" could still haunt us.
