Burton's holding onto the ball, anyway--and JD is hanging in there and checking down, not playing scared.
Great pass--great catch by Dunbar--and these announcers are starting to really annoy me--they have gone TOTALLY pro-UGA--I'd listen to RUF except it lags a few seconds behind, enough to not work well.

Nuts--Wilson's hurt again from the O-line...this is what happens when you're getting beat up front--and make no mistake, they have used their energy to whip us up front and turn things in their favor (though of course we've HANDED them FOUR FUMBLES, all lost).
Here's the thing--if we can somehow get 1 TD, just one SCORE (even a FG, if we can hold them from getting anymore), we still have a chance in the 2nd half, despite everything. This has been a disaster, yet they have NOT done the damage on the scoreboard that they SHOULD have done by now...
If only we can take this IN...

PLEASE--no more fumbles down here...we are STARTING to show signs of life on offense!

They just have to find a rhythm on offense. I believe we are finding it slowly but surely.

I am enjoying this game. Our guys got hit in the mouth and they are still standing.

This is a different Florida Team.

My heart is POUNDING! It feels like we are on the wrong end of a BLOW-OUT, yet here we are driving inside their redzone, down just one TD!

They might be right about Driskel being banged up here--he didn't run out of that with his usual bounce--OH MAN--another "false start"! Terrible down here...f*ck--AGAIN they let the guy in on the corner--GOTTA know it's coming now...FG-good...OK--but how many chances will we get? Aw hell--maybe I need to be thankful for what we got and where we're at, right? All things considered, we are in this game now--our defense is now in gear and our offense , still sputtering a bit but coming around...if we can get to the half even down a TD or less it'll be more than I expected in that first quarter, right?

Now THEY'RE gonna try and control the line-of-scrimmage, apparently--try and run it on US: OK, D, this is where you really earn your schollies...we need to force a punt here...they WANT to pass again, may even be setting us UP, but those INTs--HEY! They held back the flag! It was at "0" before Richt called it!

NUTS!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! Of all the things, maybe the biggest play of our year--and AGAIN the bad snap?!!!
There's the FG--but we are leaving points on the field now--in a game where we had a chance to turn things around, finally...Good snap, TD. Man, this is just HORRIBLE to watch...Yeah, we're still IN it, obviously, but when you get those kind of reversals of fortune in your favor, you HAVE to take better care of things...we are coming on now, but we are NOT "back" yet--and we are losing players , key ones, right and left...now Jenkins, as well as McCray, is out--we are in TROUBLE in the 2nd half if ONE of our starting LBs can't come back. One more chance with the ball here...

I missed the past few drives. Are they settling down?
We ARE taking control now, it seems--but we HAD it 3rd-and-goal inside their 10, and the perfect play called, direct snap to Burton , CHOICE of guys open in the endzone--and snapper threw it to no-one-in- particular--Driskel BARELY got it and lobbed it out of bounds--4th down, FG-try. Good--but..(again: what MIGHT have been there makes a HUGE diff.)

I don't understabd this series...this is NOT a 2 minute drill, now it's 3rd and long--GILLY gets it! We ARE starting to get it doing...Maybe this "different Gator team" can really pull this out in the 2nd half.

OK--in FG-range now...in position to throw it to the endzone with 30 sec. and aTO...ALMOSTY! Interference?!~ Too bad not a spot foul like in the pros...but 1st down in the redzone--and DEFINITELY in range for Sturges...HAD him by the flag--but JUST wide, DAMN--he was running right and it put torque on it...DAMIT JD--DO NOT THROW IT THERE!!!

They are settled down Escambia.

I hate to say it; but that interception just helped us win the game.

In my opinion that play was that reality check play, that says hey GET YOUR ASS IN GEAR.

We are gonna be fine 1 point ball game.

JD is not playing well today. Bad decisions. I guess he is finally showing his inexperience. Hopefully he's learning some things.

Milton your right he is a sophmore, he is settled down, he just has to learn when to take a loss. I am sure Coach Boom has given him an earful.

Highlights of the first half:

1. The Offense aint shot us in the foot yet.

2. Our defense is really elite. They are the reason why we are in the game.

I hope that Jelani Jenkins and Mr. McCray can come back we need them both to finish this game with a Win.

RIGHT INTO the crowd...he THOUGHT Burton was open, but too close--and instead of the lead, we just gave away 3 points. Not anything LIKE a decent game so far by JD--the rest of the team is coming around, though...I guess those were BOTH inexperience-betraying plays by our young QB there, though: that first one he DID have the receiver open--and his momentum toards the sideline transferred to the ball on the throw and took it out of bounds...Of course, on that last one, the INT, y'all saw it as well as I did--just a bad decision: the ONLY chance that play had was if he threw it early to the place his receiver was GOING to be, not when he's there, no matter HOW open he seems at that point, not woth a crowd around him in the endzone. OUCH! Would have been nice to go in with the lead after all that had gone WRONG there earlier...Still, IF we can play OUR kind of 2nd half, then "we got 'em right where we want 'em" (can't say I'm feeling real confident at this point, though).
