Gameday Week 13: Senior Day Sunshine State Showdown

Mark my words fellas.... if we do not start to show even the slightest bit of improvement on the offense side of the ball recruits....well good recruits will not give us the time of day.

Hopefully they can land a high ranking QB who wants to play right away because he'll a good chance especially if he's a pocket passer.

I just cant believe we are a 10-1 team.... At least they can stop talking about us making the playoffs. That was a pipe dream for sure. We are now were near as good as our record.

I don't buy it. I'm not saying we should be this an offense juggernaut but give me a fucking break. Fundamentals..... Throw the ball, catch the ball, and block someone in the opposite uniform for goodness sake. There is no excuse for such a poor offense with no, zero improvement and we are representing the east. While I agree with E- that our coaches "have little to work with", that doesn't mean they had to just surrender and let it all ride on these losers ANYWAY--the so-called "results " against MUCH lesser competition SHOULD have told them that anything BUT some kind of DRASTIC change was going to get us beat now and for the rest of the season, WHEN IT COUNTED.
No, much as I like, admire and support Coach Mac and the rest, much as I support their efforts and what they've managed to accomplish here this season WITH so little, I too am "not buying it"--can't accept that after what we've seen over the weeks didn't tell them quite clearly what it told all of us: That we were doomed to defeat, to BAD play and inevitable losses against teams with any sort of real talent, with even a few players of the caliber WE try to recruit. We should have been planning for and ready to go with some kind of total alternative to "Treon, etc., as usual".

I look at it like this.... Muschamp had top 10 recruiting classes. These guys playing are the same ones FSU, GA, ALA, TENN, OK, were recruiting. They are not division 2 recruits. They have speed and play making ability. The coaches need to develop these kids.

I'm with ya, bra'. I actually stopped watching, even turned off the stadium announcer-feed, in the middle of "Mac's comments" as they left the field at the half--as I insisted I would. No reason to put myself thru' ANY of that "long painful slide frustration" any longer.
Imagine a porn flick where the "lead actor" can't perform...THEY DON'T BOTHER MAKING IT! They fire him, get someone else before wasting another moment of anyone's time or money, I imagine.

Again--I stopped watching the actual game some time ago. Know where it's headed, just not interested in personally witnessing/suffering on thru' it. But I also realize I am probably still being weirdly affected by it all--to come up with some of the weird stuff above. Our offense "a porn flik no one would MAKE"??? Uh, sorry guys. That's too weird even for me. At least I recognize it still. Not sure that's ANY kind of consolation tho'

Sorry--but THANKS--for at least getting me laughing with the frustration taken to its logical extreme.
I'll stop hating him, maybe even feel a little bad for him--the moment he leaves our team, gives BACK his scholarship, gets a McJob and transfers over to Santa Fe CC for his lower-division credits...maybe after that he can plague, er, I mean join the UCF program. They'll be searching for "entry level players" looking for a shot at starting somewhere, I'm sure. And Treon, well, following in the fine tradition and footsteps of winners like Jeff Driskel and Jacoby Brisset, there is surely a place for him somewhere--somewhere ELSE!

Why have we had such shit luck with QBs over the past few years? First it was John Brantley who sucked badly. Then we had Jeff Driskel who sucked badly. Now we finally seemed turn a new leaf with Will Grier but he gets suspended for the entire season due to PEDs use. But I see true freshman QBs on other teams who seem to have their shit together.
