Hola Gator Fans,

I'm a huge Florida football fan at business school in Spain for a semester. I am writing a report for my Economics of Sports class about Urban Meyer and the revenue he generates for Florida.

Didn't he visit student dorms to drum up support for the program when he started in '05?

Is there anything else Coach does to get fans involved?

For example, Neuheisel at UCLA leaves a season ticket holders a voice message to get them pumped up for the next season.

Welcome to Gator Envy.

One thing Urban does is lets some of his players race students in a 40-yard dash. If the student wins he gets a scholarship. I think they do that during the Spring Game or Strong Man Competition time.
