Things are not to well down here either, Back in my home town where there are 8000 people tops
its because of the big 3 its a disaster we have enough rich ppl to buy season tickets and sellout games, but the Lions are not improving and will not make any BIG changes, Matt Millen firing is not the solution.
the #1 team is Boise st or Utah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Big 12 offenses do not have a knack at just committing turnovers, well unless you are Booger Daniel and Missouri.
Other than that...most of the turnovers for OU have been earned and well disciplined play.
With me not trying to sound arrogant or disrespectful. I think Florida is a damn good team. They are deserving of the hype. But Their defense has not faced an offense like that of the Sooners. In fact NOBODIES resume in any BCS Conference is as impressive as the Sooners.
6 of 13 games against top 20 BCS ranked teams.
5-1 in those games.
Many experts will say that the Big 12 is better than the SEC, and the Big 12 South is the toughest division in college football. So please do not act like the defense Florida is bringing to the table is god-like. They have their flaws. And Kevin Wilson and Sam Bradford will find and exploit those weaknesses.
Funny thing about Kevin Wilson... He is leaving
HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY!!!!! Lets get back on topic.
Florida Sucks!!!!

Wha Happen SB??!!
That's no way to deal w/ thins.
Well he will learn and adapt to the SEC defenses this offseason if he comes else Miss State will be like they were this season.
leakbrewergator,
My post previously touched on this subject, but I'll try again from a different angle.
You claim TCU's defense is the best D we've faced all year. I honestly doubt you even believe this. I understand you'll be able to fire out a brazilion stats to back up the claim, but come on, really.....TCU.
TCU plays in a different league, therefore they're not facing the offense the Big12 defenses are subjected to on a weekly basis. I honestly doubt you believe TCU is fielding a vastly superior D than Texas, Nebraska, and OSU. Given that you're not watching the big12 every week, you're probably assuming Baylor and Tech don't play sound defense either. It's all relative to what style of offense you're facing week in and week out.
TCU gave up 3 TD's in the first quarter, and we started working on our run game. Our run game and O-Line were exposed, then exploited in the Texas game when we weren't able to inflict our will. I freely admit this. The next game was Kansas, and we continued to emphasise the run, and Demarco FINALLY started to look like his pre-injury self. By the time we played K-state, our O'line was opening holes, and Murray was back to form. All teams evolve and progress throughout the season, and OU is no different.
I'm not knocking your teams super fantastical defense, but I'm not sitting here thinking that just because Tulane allowed 172 yards against Alabama, and you allowed 323, that you're defense is worst than Tulane. Stats are going to say what you need them to say when you need them to say them.
My Sooner point of view is:
Our O is as good as your D with a slight edge to OU
Your O is as good as our D with a slight edge to UF
Your Specials are better than our specials, no question.
First off, let me start by saying I have watched Big XII football every week. I watch every conference every week.
yes. I do believe TCU is the bst defense you guys have faced all season long. Better than Nebraska and Oklahoma St by far, and better than Texas only slightly. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone on this sentiment. So you're saying Baylor plys sound defense?? A 4-8 team??? I guess......

You're definitely not alone on that one LBG
