ANYTHING could happen like you pointed out, BUT looking at the records for these guys and you dont see success for most of them, not to mention 6 out of the 8 are no longer with that team as head coach.
Fulmer started out strong but waned in later years; Mark Richt has seemed to hold his own at Georgia and is doing well. Joker Phillips is a "coach-in-waiting" to follow Rich Brooks, and the rest on that list didn't make it, although David Cutcliffe is getting a second chance at Duke. The Zooker is likely to wind up on the hot seat at Illinois next year if he has a repeat performance of 2008, Ed Orgeron is an assistant in the NFL now (Urban Meyer was considering him for a defensive assistant before he took the NFL job; Orgeron is a strong recruiter) and I'm not sure where Mike Shula is now.
As far as what the future holds for Sly Croom and Phil Fulmer, nobody knows at this point in time.
