New Offense?????

Okay even the announcers last night were saying Brantley can't run the offense were used to with Tebow. So is it time for Urban to start running our offense like the ol ball coach did, and start airing it out. Im sure if we start doing that, the ol dive play might work if we were scorching secondarys. One of the worst games Ive seen us play in a long time, but I still love you Gators, lets rebound and play like we did after the ole miss lost from a few years back. Take the points coach, couldve been 3-3.

:gator: its still great to be,just hurts this morning.

I still love the Gators, but these guys get paid to make these decisions. I have to have some faith that they know better than I do. I hold on to some faith that Urban Meyer is saving the playbook and the wide open passing for the SEC championship game. I expect that if JB comes back next year, that the spread option will be a wide open passing attack, based on the personnel we have recruited.

I agree; like OTG, I'm not on the FSA bandwagon yet either. I might be, but for now, I'll be patient even if I'm not satisfied with what's happening so far.

As for Meyer "saving the playbook" for Atlanta, Meyer is either an incredible genius or one heckuva risk taker.

I know. It's crazy, but I will entertain the thought not because it makes sense, but because it helps me lay off the Jack (Daniels).

Honestly, life is much simpler as a Gator fan as long as I only care to win the SEC. Winning national championships invites too many fair weather fans that make the rest of us look bad. Look guys, the BCS is a beauty pageant. I don't care if we win the national championship as long as I have fun at the games or in my living room watching the games. Just win the SEC. We can still win the best conference in football by learning from our beatdown and getting a win in Atlanta. If we lose in Atlanta, then my theory of us playing possum to get revenge later goes out the window and I can admit that we were highly over-rated this year. I am okay with that. This was supposed to be a rebuilding year, guys. Alabama's recruiting was better than ours a year ago--they were supposed to be better than us this year as defending champs with more experience in their young recruits. Next year we have no excuse to lose against Alabama. Maybe next year we can "expect" a national championship. This year? I can "expect" to finish in the top 20 but still win the East.

I agree win the SEC East and have a chance at the SEC Championship. Get into a good bowl game and recruit. I still can't believe the rankings of Boise and TCU. Both good teams. But top 5???

People love a Cinderella story. What headlines sell magazines and insider blog subscriptions? This year, the media is waiting for an excuse to anoint BSU or TCU as the Cinderella Team, which means they are waiting for Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon, and Oklahoma to falter. I am not a fan of BSU or TCU, so I don't want anyone to beat any of those real teams unless it's us during the height of BCS poll shuffles. I would love for an FBS team to beat one of those fake teams.

What would it take for me to consider TCU and BSU as real teams? Put teams like Va Tech and Nebraska on their regular schedule and play them every other year. Quit beating up on the big teams in the bowl games when the big teams have no incentive to win.
