Slippery run...3rd and 3...
Stopped them. Yes! Now THEY gotta punt. Keep em down their end.
(Ooh! Swane takes a chance--WE hit THEIR returner that close and we get flagged here for SURE!)

This is the key point in game, right here, right now. We drive the ball, eventually score with under 10 min left, and, well, let's just SEE.

See that???? Officials TRIED to hand MSU a phony TD: No WAY that was ANYTHING but a batted pass, but no whistle--they WANTED to call it a fumble.
Now, once all straightened out, do we try the long fg? Punt that deep in their end? Or go for 1st down, worst case turn it over on downs?

OK. Extra chances, and bit more room to punt--but we getvit back pretty close to where WE punted from. Take it IN, Filippe! You can put this one away NOW.

TD woukda killed it--but the fg had to be kicked. Now all on our D. That shoukd worry me. But they have done well here today.
ANOTHER 3 and out.
If our offense can drive it ONE MORE TIME, well, it'll be a long 5 minutes here, regardless.

Big sack. Game on line now. I am a nervous wreck here...flag? You gotta be kidding me. Here come the bs penalties again.
This is gonna be hard. They are gonna escort them down the field.
Now they are movibg ball without doing ANYTHING!
But we sack em and WIN!!!

WE WERE TOUGH TONIGHT.
I am PROUD of our team tonight. For the first time in a long time I am fully proud and INVESTED in this team, Coach and Program.
Offense AND Defense played their HEARTS out tonight.
Gators, we aren't back--but we have truly begun the journey. Remembet this game: Better players are coming--but you see the TOUGH IDENTITY of this team and program coming into being, and I think first really ASSERTED itself tonight.

These gators are getting better and stronger. Idk the last time I saw a gator team with toughness like tonight. Makes me proud. Kentucky got us early and they better be glad. We are headed in the right direction. Next week we will see how far we have came.

Franks had a good game minus the interception. Great win.
...and his only real sin on the interception was he reverted to "no touch": He was patient, made the right read, had his man and threw it accurately--but too hard, on a rope when a nice and firm little "touch pass" to the same place woulda had his receiver with an easy catch on the dead run for a 1st down with YAC...last year he did that practically every time he had the right guy lined up and didn't manage to OVERthrow him...So yeah, absolutely, he is MUCH improved--"good and getting better" I think it's FAIR to say. You could even see it happening in the COURSE of the one game tonight: He got sharper as it went on, throwing with greater and greater confidence and sharp poise later in that 2nd half...We knew we needed tough D and steadier offense as we came out of the half--and that is exactly what we got the rest of the way, from QB and D, repectively: As I too said at the end, rarely have I been prouder of ANY Gator team than this one, at game's end tonight).
