Ronnie Wilson returning to the Gators

Ronnie Wilson has served his 1 year suspension and is returning to the Gator football team next week when they start practice. Hopefully this time he doesn't shoot off any AK-47s or whatever.

Wilson used to play left guard, but will be working on out the defensive line this fall.

What's your take on it? Should he be allowed back on the team?

Coach Meyer did give Marty Johnson a second chance at Utah after he got in trouble for an alcohol-related infraction as well as Marcus Thomas (who screwed up), and because of the circumstances he agreed to meet Ronnie Wilson halfway and give him a second chance; that being said he hasn't restored his scholarship and is only allowing him to walk on. It's fine with me if Meyer's giving him the benefit of a doubt, but if he gets into trouble again then his dismissal from the team should be permanent.

I think since he's not on scholarship and is paying his own way through school that he'll be on his BEST behavior and actually impress the coaches.

Players seem to do wonders when their job is on the line.

I think Ronnie will make the team. He's a great talent, and we need all the help we can get on the d-line.
