Who from the freshman class will be the next most popular Gator. With Tebow and Harvin possibly being gone after this season, someone will have to step up. When people say "this guys" name they will think of the Gators.

I agree with gatorgirlfan. Will Hill. I also think Omar Hunter is going to DOMINATE.

I'd be willing to bet Tebow isn't leaving early (he's pretty much insisted that's the case); but I'm less sure about Harvin. If he has the kind of year he's projected to have, he'll likely leave.
With that in mind, there are quite a few new guys who could be the face of the Gators, including the guys already named. I expect Major Wright to continue to wreak havoc in the secondary, along with newcomer Hill. I agree about Hunter, too... he'll be scary good. As far as electrifying crowds, terrifying opposing DC's, and making SportsCenter, I'd have to think Rainey first, and Thompson next. Rainey's already got a good head start, since he showed his stuff on ESPN in the OB game. He's already got a lot of exposure.

Absolutely. Florida fans are desperate for a superstar RB. We haven't had one since C4, and some may argue that C4 was the most popular player on that Gator team.
I think Rainey has all the tools necessary to be the next popular Gator. He had all the buzz coming out of high school, had a legendary Spring game this year, is already the fan favorite among RB's, and he has blazing speed and NFL Superstar like elusiveness.
I'm getting pumped up just writing about him!!!!

I'm likely to say Rainey as well (even though Tebow will be staying for his senior year), but I wouldn't count out one of our defensive players like Wright, Will Hill, or Omar Hunter.
