Tony Joiner getting noticed in Titans camp

Getting noticed: Safety Tony Joiner knows he's not going to unseat starter Chris Hope or pass up veterans on the depth chart any time soon, but the undrafted free agent from Florida has gotten the attention of coaches.
Joiner put a big hit on fullback Jeremy Cain to dislodge the football, and later combined with cornerback Eric King to knock the ball from receiver Lavelle Hawkins.


Joiner knows his chances hinge on special teams play.


"You just try and be consistent and make plays when you get a chance,'' Joiner said. "I think I'm doing pretty good, but ... I am a long way away.''

Tony Joiner didn't get drafted, but he may wind up like Earnest Graham sdid with Tampa Bay and may play his way onto a roster spot.

I think he can be a great weapon for any team... whether that be on special teams or in the secondary

Joiner might be too small to be an impact player in the NFL. He's only 5'11". I know Bob Sanders is a small guy, but he's lightning fast. Joiner doesn't have top speed.

His best shot is on special teams. I wish him luck though.
