UF basketball player Tishman not coming back

"Point guard Nimrod Tishman has decided to stay in Israel and won't return to Florida for his sophomore season.

Tishman, a 6-foot-5, 182-pound guard from Tel Avis, Israel, appeared in just seven games as a freshman, averaging 0.6 points and 0.4 rebounds."

I think this move is best for both Tishman and Florida. He can probably get more playing time in a pro league there.

Certainly does seem to be the best fit all around. Hopefully it allows someone else to get on the team and develop into some added depth who Coach Donovan can build up over the next few seasons.

Yeah, from what I understand, basketball is pretty popular in Israel. If he can sign with a pro team, good for him!
