  • Florida trails the all-time series, 60-53, although has narrowed the gap signficantly, winning 12 of the last 14 meetings between the two, including six straight in Gainesville.
  • The two teams split a pair of meetings last year, with the Gators taking a 10-point decision in Gainesville in which Vanderbilt led by 12 points on three separate occasions...The Gators had their 17-game winning streak snapped in Nashville on Feb. 17, 2007 in the last meeting between the two.

Vanderbilt looks like they don't even want to be here. Would not be suprised to see Kevin Stallings get T'd up out of this game just so he doesn't have to sit through this.

What a great game for the Gators. I never expected to score as much as we did against Vanderbilt. We should be moved into the top 20 this week. We were already in the top 25 or so. Maybe one more week of wins is needed, but this team is really coming together nicely. Go Gators!

I was down in the Rowdy Reptiles for this game, and wow what an amazing performance. This is by far the best they have looked this season. This team is really coming together.

Considering the fact that we lost to fsu and ohio state, today was a must win as far as credibility. And we came through big time by beating the #13 team by 22 points! Now that we'll at least split with Vandy, if we split against Tenn, that would make a very convincing case for the NCAA tournament.
