Update on Tebow's injury is...

That he's going to get a lot more of them, although I think BOTH Moreno and Stafford are injured too.

That's what happens when you go to the NFL before you have fully developed physically.

hes alright, just got some bruised ribs, he wasnt wearing a QB back n rib protector which was stupid but a lesson learned. Hell be wearing one from now on but yeah its only bruised ribs and were not in a rush to start him or rush him back being that hes only battling for the number 2 job, a job he will win anyway.

what was jarvis moss like in florida?

After Moss was treated for a long-time medical ailment, he was HUGE on the D-line. Back in '06, he blocked a Carolina field goal in the closing seconds that saved the win for us in that game.

Seems like Tim's still getting acclimated to the pace of the pro game, but he'll get there. Thank God he wasn't seriously injured.

Injured Tebow still learning self-protection code of NFL

DENVER — "The taming of Tim Tebow has begun.

For a second consecutive day, the rookie Denver Broncos quarterback was locked inside the trainer’s room while the team finished training camp on Thursday.

All quarterbacks eventually learn that bone-jarring contact is detrimental to their present and long-term health. Breaking Tebow of his well-known physical style of play may be a great challenge."

Tebow buzz grows loud in Denver

DENVER - "Eric Decker knows all about the buzz. He can see it, feel it.

"It's hard to miss," said the rookie wide receiver from Minnesota. "You gotta see it."

He has even heard it.

Decker was Tebow's roommate during Denver's camp that broke up Thursday. Every night, he'd hear the former Florida quarterback turn on the hyperbaric chamber that Tebow sleeps in.

"That thing is buzzing at night," he said. "He sleeps in it every night. When he's gone, I'll slip in it for a couple of hours. It's not for the claustrophobic."

Tebow still out of Broncos practice

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — "The injury-riddled Denver Broncos are finally starting to look like themselves, as several players returned to practice Tuesday.

Notably absent, however, was rookie quarterback Tim Tebow, who has practiced just once since bruising his ribs in his pro debut Aug. 15. He was at the team’s morning walkthrough but not its afternoon workout."

Tim Tebow May Return Against Steelers

"The Denver Broncos' regulars are scheduled to play into the third quarter on Sunday, when the team hosts the Pittsburgh Steelers in their third preseason game, a key dress rehearsal for the regular season.

Coach Josh McDaniels said Thursday that he wanted to be able to go through adjustments, calls and corrections with his players during the intermission and give them a chance to carry them out once play resumes in the third quarter."

Tebow makes Denver debut

DENVER — "Rookie quarterback Tim Tebow made his home debut for Denver, which defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 34-17 in a preseason game Sunday.

Tebow, a star at the University of Florida, missed last week’s game with bruised ribs he sustained on a 7-yard dart into the end zone on the game’s final play in his pro debut at Cincinnati.

Although Tebow saved the touchdown with a tackle at the 5 on Crezdon Butler’s 40-yard interception return Sunday, Jonathan Dwyer (89 yards on 13 carries) took it in from there to cut it to 20-10 in the fourth quarter."

Tebow may have moved up to No. 2

DENVER — "Tim Tebow’s ill-fated dart into the end zone earlier this month sparked quite the conversation among his devotees and his haters alike: Can the former Florida star survive in the NFL if he doesn’t tone down his bruising running style?

Kyle Orton, for one, was squarely in his corner. The Denver Broncos’ starting quarterback said he’d have done the exact same thing as Tebow did when he dashed for the goal line on the final play of his pro debut even though two defenders rendered the rookie a human sandwich with bruised ribs.

“Try to score every play that you can,” Orton said. “And if that’s the option, then that’s what you’ve got to do.”

Tebow overcomes turnovers in preseason loss

MINNEAPOLIS — "Tim Tebow’s first two series had rookie written all over them. Then he started playing with the veteran-like poise that helped him get drafted in the first round by Denver in the first place.

The Florida alum outplayed Minnesota’s Tarvaris Jackson in the backup quarterback comparison, but the Vikings forced four first-half turnovers and beat the Broncos 31-24 on Thursday night in the preseason finale for both teams."
