That’s the lesson here tonight:

I continue to be BEWILDERED by this Gator team. We are BETTER than every team we’ve played, yet we just do NOT assert ourselves early, it seems.
I guess I SHOULDN’T be surprised anymore: THIS is who we are, how we play. But it just does not bode well for what’s ahead, I’ll say no more; It will have to be enough to see us now begin to take over, SLOWLY bring things around.
We NEED to put these games AWAY in the first half. But we don’t...What we usually do is FINALLY BEGIN to “serve notice” at the END of each first half, then make good on that “promise” in the 3rd qrtr.
Might as well sit back and TRY to enjoy it, hopefully...Our running game at least shows signs of waking up for the first time this season.
There is literally NO REASON we cannot repeatedly drive the field on these guys rest of the night.
I don’t believe it. Pick six in the miflddke of our drive. We better wake up or this season goes down the drive right here and now!

Keyontae Johnson had COVID a few months ago. There are some who think myocarditis induced by COVID may be the culprit.

This game is about as uneasy to this point as it was against Georgia. Trask is forcing the ball, but is not driving the ball with authority.

That last pick was ridiculous...and we have driven the field repeatedly—and come away with just the one TD—while THEY get the picks (including a 14-pt turnaround on that earlier Pick-6!).
