(laughing) Now: Which of the above paranoid fantasies ("They are FACTS, you blind fools!") are the LEAST likely? Or better Q, which one would you LIKE to be true--and which the least? ...A regular "personality test"!)
Yes. It is interesting to see things from the perspective of others. Remember that UTx thinks people will pay for 24/7 access to the Longhorn Network, even when the football team is barely managing 6 or 7 wins. They think they scared away aTm. They think Alabama cheated in order to beat them by targeting McCoy.Really E-94? UT fans think us gators fans too demanding? WOW!!!!!!!!!! Those UT fans were ready to throw in the towel after two early losses. Later on UT was one game from winning the BIG 12, if they won against Baylor. Man I wish the gators beat BAMA in 2009. They would beaten UT soundly with or without Colt McCoy
You got THAT right, Lf--everything you say here...Someday it WILL happen, tho'--and when it does (and, much as I long for that match-up, I want it to be for EVERYTHING--and am willing to wait for it, rather than see it in that "consolation"/SEC-vs-Big 12 game that's liable to end up being called "The New Cotton Bowl"), I am fully confident (provided it IS the final, deciding PLAYOFF game) of the same outcome: Gators win--and once we get an offense that CAN roll it up on the Alabamas and LSUs, we'll roll OVER "The Austin Pro-Team". Horns' fans live in SUCH a clouded, self-centered and arrogantly deluded world that they really don't have any idea, even now, how good a team you have to be, week in/week out, to win the SEC--and how that prepares you for ANYTHING.Really E-94? I can't wait: I lick my chops at the prospect.
@Escambia94,
I agree with you completely, too, E-, re both your take on Horns' fans, and that whole ongoing biz with various fan-bases expecting the return of certain former "prodigal sons". Even certain GATOR fans are somewhat guilty of this--I'm referring to the "When's SS coming back?"-crowd here: Maybe it's just me, and the fact that it's the only one (ie. the periodic excited rumor/expectation) I've any emotional stake in, but I've always found this one the most absurd (and unlikely one) of all. (Hey, another chance for an obscure movie-reference (I mean, REALLY "obscure"): "NE-vah HAH-pen!") I NEVER took any of these latest/currently-ongoing ones seriously, though--and find myself shaking my head once more at fans in general, maybe even giving me some perspective and caution at my OWN emotion-based knee-jerk over-reactions?
NAHHH!
Escambia agreed, knowing Foley; he already has the speed dial numbers setup somewhere in a hidden bunker.
Muschamp, is all or nothing right now.
If Muschamp wants to be at this program for a long time; he has to have a winning season no if and's or buts about it.
I think I know where the "mixed" feeling comes in: NONE of us here were trumpeting Roper the last few weeks, as I recall. He wasn't my first choice by any means; few mentioned him or even included him in their more extended lists.I have mixed feelings on hiring Roper. Sure, he comes from Duke, but he is an SEC guy. Look what he did at Duke with 2 and 3 star athletes! He already recruits in Jacksonville, Hialeah, and Ft Meyers, as well as California, Texas, and Nevada. His offense has broken some of Spurrier's records at Duke. He developed several NFL QBs, including 2X Super Bowl MVP and #1 NFL Draft pick in 2004, Manning the younger. His offense ran the third most number of plays in NCAA, and he was a finalist for the Broyles Award.
Well the gators got the punishment the way they did because NCAA played favorites and allowed two bitter ex - gator coaches involved with the investigation. However the leaders of the university could have challenged the punishment or modify it like what UNLV did after the season they won the championship in basketball in 1990. At least to save the 1984 season (straight out BS that the gators punishment immediately during that season). That 1984 title should've belong to the gators. I think the U and FSU and others gave money and women to NCAA. Well it could have worse, just ask a SMU fan. Also if you saw that 30 for 30 about SMU, They about beating UT in 1980 and getting the attention of the NCAA after that win. Also UT fans said that Colt McCoy was targeted? Really? Come on it's football plus it looked like a clean hit to me and I was cheering for UT (Sorry I didn't want to cheer for those BAMA A-HOLES). Also I admit Winston is a great quarterback heck I believe if Meyer was still here Winston would have been a gator. Also I believe the Tallahassee Police Department needs to be investigated. I think they all they did all they could to protect Winston.
THOSE BASTARDS!Well my sister went there for three years, received her bachelors and the worse that happen to her was heat stroke.
